Privacy Policy
In short: Wonderzo has no user accounts and never asks for your name or email. Most of your data stays on your own phone.
Who we are
Wonderzo is run by Nikolai Pedersen (sole proprietorship), CVR 45567338, Denmark. Questions about your data: hello@wonderzo.app.
Data that stays on your phone
Your progress, streak, chosen topics, saved videos, answers and settings are stored only on your phone. We can't see them. They are deleted when you delete the app.
Reminders are scheduled directly on your phone. We have no server that sends you messages.
Data we process
- Plus purchases. Payment is handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details. To give you access to Plus we use RevenueCat, which processes a random user ID that is not linked to your name, and details about your subscription (for example the plan and when it renews).
- Usage statistics. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see how the app is used, for example which videos are watched to the end and where errors happen. Statistics are tied to a random ID, not to your name or email, and we don't store your IP address.
- Videos. Videos are delivered by Cloudflare. When your phone loads a video, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver it.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply.
Legal basis
Subscriptions are processed to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Statistics, video delivery and replying to email are based on our legitimate interest in running and improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who we share data with
Only the providers listed above: Apple or Google (payment), RevenueCat (subscriptions), PostHog (statistics, EU) and Cloudflare (videos and website). We never sell your data or use it for advertising. RevenueCat and Cloudflare are US companies; transfers to the US rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long
Statistics are kept for at most 12 months. Subscription records are kept as long as needed to give you access and to meet bookkeeping rules. Emails are deleted when the matter is closed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, and receive a copy of your data. Write to hello@wonderzo.app. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk) or your local authority.
Children
Wonderzo is made for people aged 13 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For bigger changes we'll tell you in the app.
